Two therapists lead care at our Joliet location. Here at National Lymphatic Centers, we practice the Vogel Method of manual lymphatic drainage, Sharon's proprietary approach built on more than three decades of hands-on experience. The method she built sets the standard at every table, Joliet included, and every plan begins with an assessment.
Joliet patients have the full range of our hands-on drainage care:

Gua Sha and contouring massage together, to support drainage, reduce puffiness, and enhance body contours.

Massage that helps manage your swelling and bloat for the long term.

Our flagship. Gentle, precise drainage to move fluid and reduce swelling.
Safety first. Lymphatic work is not right for everyone. We do not perform drainage on patients with AFib, COPD, emphysema, blood clots, or an active infection. Those are outside our scope of care, and severe or acute lymphedema can need a hospital lymphedema clinic with emergency care on site. We will guide you there if that is what your situation calls for.

Absolutely amazing therapist. Helped me to recover from my post op process. Applied perfect pressure. Assisted with my fibrous tissue. Pleasant and kind personality. Asked if I was comfortable. Went the extra mile with lifting my legs to prop them up properly. She's the only reason I return! Relaxing music too. Thanks Luda!

Our Joliet clinic is at 3100 Theodore Street, Joliet, IL, in Will County. The suite is wheelchair accessible and the building has an elevator. One call reaches every location: 630-828-6582.
Ludmila Lynch, our Clinic Director in Joliet, leads care here. She is a licensed massage therapist and a certified lymphedema therapist (LMT, CLT). Our founder Sharon Vogel also sees patients at the Joliet clinic.
Here is the Joliet menu. Manual lymphatic drainage the Vogel Method, Complete Decongestive Therapy, medical massage, post-surgical drainage, oncology, prenatal, and postpartum massage, and head, face and neck drainage. Every plan starts with an assessment.
No. A regular massage works muscle. Manual lymphatic drainage works fluid, siphoning and drawing it along your lymphatic pathways with far lighter pressure. At National Lymphatic Centers it is delivered by therapists trained specifically in manual lymphatic drainage.
Most patients do not need a prescription for lymphatic drainage massage. If you are recovering from surgery, we ask you to clear massage with your surgeon first. If you are in cancer treatment, we coordinate timing with your care team before booking.
We offer sessions per visit and in series packages of 3, 5, or 10 for patients whose plan calls for ongoing care. Current prices for every option are on our pricing page. Your therapist maps the right cadence at your assessment.
One call reaches every location: 630-828-6582. When you book, we get you in at whichever clinic is easiest for you to reach.
Call us, tell us what you are dealing with, and we will say honestly whether lymphatic drainage can help. If it can, we will get you booked at our Joliet clinic on Theodore Street, or at whichever of our three clinics is easiest for you to reach.
