The Vogel Method is the only manual lymphatic massage that has improved my symptoms. I have chronic inflammation. Sharon was able to decrease the swelling in various joints which has immensely improved my quality of life.

I found Sharon through my surgeon after having upper bleph surgery that left my face swollen. After just one lymphatic session, the swelling improved noticeably. I decided to purchase a full-body package since I’d also been dealing with severe knee and leg pain. After only one leg session, the pain was significantly better. I am going to cry. I was so lucky to get a last minute lymph massage from NLC on New Year’s Eve. No one would return my calls at any massage center except for them and I am so grateful they did. I truly felt so taken care of by Abdu who is also an MD from Jordan. He was so knowledgeable and kind and explain everything to me in depth about the differences. I felt so relaxed after and I plan to go back. A lymph massage is completely different than a standard massage but 100% better. Great location easy parking lot around the corner. I cannot recommend NLC and Abdu enough. Do not hesitate! You are worth it. Amazing customer service and extremely reasonable pricing. I love the DG location but haven’t tried the other ones

Unfortunately this massage didn’t help relieve any of the “hard” areas after my lipo procedure. I’ve had multiple massages done since and this massage was very light and didn’t feel any effects.

I just recently wrote a glowing review on Sharon, and now I do need to let the world know what an amazing healer Dr. Abdu is! He is such a kind, thoughtful, and caring man. He explains anything I need and teaches me how to treat myself at home. It feels as though he has the hands of God; I feel myself being healed as he is working on me. I have lymphedema all over my body which has caused excruciating itching; especially in my face. I have been searching for two years for someone in the medical community to identify what I have and to treat me. It wasn’t until I came to the National Lymphatic Center that I finally got help. Unfortunately due to the horrible itching, I scratched my skin and caused quite a bit of damage. I thought this would never heal but Dr. Abdu has given me hope that he can reverse some of the damage. I was really looking forward to this experience. The facility in Downers Grove was very clean and comfortable and the special touches like the basket of healthy treats and great teas were great. The experience left me a little disappointed for the price, $250 . It was a lympatic massage which is light pressure and I did get the full 2 hours. I would have liked more information on what the therapist was doing and explaination of what I should be feeling and what benefits I should I notice afterwards. I don't know if I need more treatments before I feel and see the benefits

I had a knot in my muscle from the Tummy tuck, which was giving me pain for weeks. I'm 4 weeks post-op but just found out about Lymphatic Drainage Massages. It's a true miracle how it was completely loose and didn't cause me pain when she was done. I could bend, move in ways I hadn't in since before my surgery. Sharon is a God-send and one of THE most amazing people I've ever met. I only wish I could afford to see her twice or even once per week. 😞

This establishment is very professional, well put together in a great neighborhood and right next door to a starbucks!!! Sharon the founder did my Lymphatic massage. I am two weeks post surgery and before I went I was very swollen tender to the touch in certain areas and with lots of discomfort no matter which way I slept. After Sharon got done my tissue was soft to the touch an not hard and tender. The swelling went down tremendously! I also slept good. When I tell you my results were immediate believe me! I would say this is an investment that yields an instant return! I must must go back

Great experience seeing Sara for energy work. The office was very clean and welcoming. They take great precautionary measures towards COVID. They have hand sanitizer right when you walk-in, take your temperature right away, and give you sandals to wear. Sara was very professional and informative in regards to energy healing. I’ve had such amazing experiences during my visits at the National Lymphatic Center. From the time I walk in the door I am greeted and given a comfy pair of slippers to put on. My temperature is taken and I am given hand sanitizer as they follow proper guidelines for the pandemic. The office space where the massages takes place is nice and cozy. In the office space there are complimentary waters, tea, and chocolate. In the office space calming music is played and before changing out of my street clothes I am given a robe for my own privacy for the lymphatic massage. Ultimately my experience was awesome and I would highly recommend to anyone that is seeking services after surgery

Dr. Abdul is a very good manual lymphatic drainage practitioner. He took a lot of time to explain this type of therapy and he communicated very clearly. He explained a lot as he went through the MLD process too. He could tell which parts of my body were more swollen and he could tell when the fluid was clearing out. The cost was a little higher than average but his experience and medical knowledge make it worth it. I am still feeling the benefits a day later

This place is amazing! The staff makes you feel great! My body looked great each time after my massage. They teach you what to do at home and they take their time with you. I recently had the 360 lipo about a month ago and I was swollen and very hard, so I sought out lymphatic drainage centers to help with my recovery. In a nurse practitioner so I did extensive research on what works and what doesnt. I had a consultation with the director and I was please with her knowledge base. Ive had 3 massages so far and I feel less stiff, swollen and hard. I would highly recommend going to this center for post surgical help with recovery

I feel like it was a waste of time. I informed them that I have had many lymphatic massages so the anatomy lesson was not needed. They send paperwork to my email but forget to inform you that you must do the forms on a computer. They are very hard to get a hold of. I felt like the doctor was massaging me with kid gloves on. I felt uncomfortable. I will not be returning. They try to get you with care plans twice a week until improvement, hopefully trying to get you to cough up the money right away. All in all just not somewhere I would waste my time at

I relax the times that I been there I did purchase the 10 package so I will see how good is Venus legacy other then that Sharon does a great job manually and Specially with the Venus legacy machine I personally likes how she works with that machine

I had no reaction to yesterdays treatment. perhaps 15 minutes does not make any sense. I would think having had a pet scan the day before, would have elicited some drainage response. Your not wanting hear what i had to say 'it was too much information'; your charge for 15 minutes was outrageous

Two years ago, I had my meniscus removed from my left knee. Prior to and for two years thereafter, I have shuffled from four different surgeons, leg compression pumps had wrapping therapy (to the knee not the whole leg) and have been left with a plastic surgeon who wants to do some serious surgery. No way! I found Sharon via google. I went in for a consultation feeling somewhat skeptical. After meeting her staff, seeing her facilities as well as how I was treated, I felt at ease. Sharon talked with me thoroughly about my specific problem areas as well as showed me pictures and educated me on fibrosis and lymphodema...clearly something that none of my previous surgeons even attempted to explain. Sharon is no nonsense and I’m a bottom line gal so I deferred to her expertise and start my first appointment on Monday. I left with a renewed feeling of hope

I've been going to NLC for massage treatments monthly for over a year and would recommend to anyone looking for skilled massage therapist (although they offer many other services). This is not a spa in the sense of a typical beauty/massage spa. I had constant chest pain for three days prior to my appointment! Then poof! I had a couple of sessions and no more chest pain. I had even gone to the emergency room and all the tests were negative, yet I was told the gold standard was to have more invasive tests. I don't ever suggest anyone not follow up with their physician but the lymphatic drainage center saved me from constant chest pain!! Thank you Sharon Vogel. You are a God sent!!

I have benefited from an overall health standpoint and better understanding of my condition from a referral to National Lymphatic Centers and Sharon Vogel. Following my oncology surgery, I developed Lymphodema which would often produce discomfort and swelling in my right leg limiting my activity level at times. It was seemingly becoming more difficult to complete or just perform the usual chores at the house without needing to take a break and elevate my let due to ache and throbbing resulting from swelling. Although I have milder swelling compared to some others, I was still surprised at how much my condition was limiting my ability to just cut the grass or attempting to walk 9 holes on a golf course. I've greatly appreciated the knowledge I've gained in better understanding how the lymphatic system drains and what strategies I can employ to help alleviate and better manage my condition. There is definitely a real benefit to a better understanding of lymphodema and it's symptom's, as unfortunately this is a condition that is permanent but can be managed to some extent. For me, it's all about improving the quality of my life within my means and to the best of my ability!

Today I saw Sharon for the second time for a CLINICAL LYMPH DRAINAGE MASSAGE. The foot massage upon arrive and spa treats is always a good sign of the service you are about to receive. I left there feeling like I was on a cloud. It relaxed my body. I could feel it working through my skin. I'd describe the feeling or what it visually looks like to watch circuits light up in a computer. Like the feeling of a menthol drop but in your entire body. My nervous system was reset. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere a safe place. It's self care that I can't do without!

If you think you need help with stagnant lymph, or myofascial issues, or you're swelling and don't know what's happening to your body, make the appointment at NLC. In 3 sessions with Sharon, I not only felt "lighter," but my suspicions that I had some blockages that were prohibiting functional drainage were confirmed. The Vogel Method is pretty fantastic: release of fascial tension, unsticking of sticky proteins, re-establishing lymph flow... and an added bonus seeing\/feeling results within a couple of visits makes it all worth it. I had what I'd consider minimal swelling, though it put a solid 10 lbs on me "out of nowhere." My body is already functioning better and stabilizing closer to my normal. The staff is kind and knowledgable, and the clinic is impeccable

I have individually had the lymph massage and facial and they were outstanding. I was really excited to have both done in one appointment unfortunately it was mediocre compared to my previous treatments. While the mask was on my face I could hear Dani texting. At my previous facial they massaged my hair while the mask was on. Unfortunately I did arrive 10 minutes late due to traffic. Dani was flexible. My treatment was suppose to be 120 minutes. 1:45-3:45 I arrived at 1:55 and was back in my car by 3:40. I understand if my appointment could not be extended due to my late arrival but it should not have ended early

I tore my hamstrings and shortly after surgery, was involved in a motor vehicle accident. After completing physical therapy I still didn’t have the movement or energy I hoped for. My PT told me to find a practitioner with myofascial release expertise. I was referred to Sharon Vogel and couldn’t be happier with the results. Sharon released my hard fibrotic tissue, then treated me for lymphatic drainage manually and with her laser device (PEMF). I wish I knew about Lymphatic drainage for before and after surgery. My recovery would have been so much faster. I now have energy like I haven’t had in years. I can participate in physical activity without the exhaustion I felt before treatment. A real game changer!! And the spa like location in Hinsdale is like a HGTV showplace! Many thanks to Sharon and her staff

Super grateful I discovered this place. It’s really helped me with lymphatic issues after a long journey of breast cancer treatment. After one session I dropped 2 lbs of water weight, felt less stiff and tight, had a much larger range of motion on my radiated side.
