Safety first. Lymphatic work is not right for everyone. We do not perform drainage on patients with AFib, COPD, emphysema, blood clots, or an active infection. Those are outside our scope of care, and severe or acute lymphedema can need a hospital lymphedema clinic with emergency care on site. We will guide you there when that is what your situation calls for.

The pressure is light and nothing happens without your say so. Your therapist reviews your health history, checks how your body is holding fluid, and walks you through the plan for the day before any hands-on work begins.
Most patients simply rest while the fluid moves, and many tell us they nearly fall asleep. Plan a little extra time for your first visit in Hinsdale, since it includes a health review and a drainage assessment on top of the treatment itself.

I tore my hamstrings and shortly after surgery, was involved in a motor vehicle accident. After completing physical therapy I still didn’t have the movement or energy I hoped for. My PT told me to find a practitioner with myofascial release expertise. I was referred to Sharon Vogel and couldn’t be happier with the results. Sharon released my hard fibrotic tissue, then treated me for lymphatic drainage manually and with her laser device (PEMF). I wish I knew about Lymphatic drainage for before and after surgery. My recovery would have been so much faster. I now have energy like I haven’t had in years. I can participate in physical activity without the exhaustion I felt before treatment. A real game changer!! And the spa like location in Hinsdale is like a HGTV showplace! Many thanks to Sharon and her staff

Our founder Sharon Vogel practices in Hinsdale, so many patients see her directly. Stephanie Kos, a certified lymphedema therapist and Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy specialist, works alongside her. Both are trained in the drainage work that defines the practice.
The full menu. Manual lymphatic drainage via the Vogel Method, Complete Decongestive Therapy, Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy, post-surgical drainage, head, face and neck drainage, and oncology, prenatal, and postpartum care. Every plan begins with an assessment.
Most patients do not need a prescription for lymphatic drainage. If you are recovering from surgery, we ask you to clear massage with your surgeon first. If you are in cancer treatment, we coordinate timing with your care team before booking.
We offer sessions per visit and in series packages of 3, 5, or 10 for patients whose plan calls for ongoing care. Current prices for every option are on our pricing page. Your therapist maps the right cadence at your assessment.
